Upcoming Season

I am really excited for this upcoming season.  I will be doing most of my training at Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham New York with their race coach.  I am very fortunate with my grants and sponsorships that I will be able to focus full time on my training this season.

I would like to thank everyone who has sponsored me for this season.

Summer Update

I did a lot of training with Mace the beggining of the summer before I got a summer job.  I was also included into a class that he offered on Thursday afternoons for a local group of disabled individuals.  I had a great time.

In August I switched trainers, my new trainer is Sean.  We have had a few workouts together since and they have been very good.  I am very excited for changing up workouts it will keep my muscles always thinking and working.

I haven't been able to ride my bike as much as I thought I would this summer but I did do a very nice ride today with my family.

Just a few more weeks until the season begins.  I am always looking for sponsors for my training both in the gym and on the hill, equipment and travel for my races.  My toal of 2014 is just around the corner so any little help you can provide that would be greatly appreciated.

This summer has been a very busy one. I was nominated for a Special Recognation in Karate for the Black Belt Hall of Fame in Pittsburg, PA which will be in November.

Vacation Race Camp

Well its Friday and I am here in Windham, New York and its snowing. What a great week already of training from coaches, running gates and meeting new people and learning some stretching techniques using yoga. I am really looking forward to skiing in some fresh snow today.

On Saturday we have a Level 1 Diana Golden Race that I am getting ready to participate in.

On Wednesday we trained Giant Slalom running Nastar gates all day. On Thursday we had a Slalom course set up on another trail that in the morning we ran and also did some drills on the other side of the trail so we went back and forth which was great. I am really looking forward to today we'll see what we train.

Training and Compititions

Had a great time the last few weeks training with the Adaptive Sports Foundation race team Windham, NY and then heading to Waterville Valley NH for the U.S. Nationals technical events. I had a good experience with the races. Slalom is definately my stronger event, but I have a lot to still work on in both Giant Slalmon and Slalmon. I am really looking forward to the end of January when I head back to New York for more training.
